Beck House
Beck house is a warm and welcoming single bed residential home located on the outskirts of Cathedral City of Salisbury in Wiltshire.
The home can accommodate young people from 14 to 18 years of age, of either gender.
We work with each young person on a staffing ratio of 2:1 providing a secure, bounded home-like environment which is underpinned by therapeutic values of empathy, understanding and positive ‘parenting’.
Our aim is to provide a home for each young person where they feel valued and safe and are able to begin to work through the effects of childhood trauma.
We believe that every child is unique and individual; in view of this, each young person has their own bespoke care package which is developed to suit their needs based on the framework of the five outcomes of Every Child Matters, in partnership with the placing authority and where appropriate family and significant others to the young person.
Outcomes monitoring is conducted regularly throughout the placement and the young person is encouraged to be fully involved in all the processes surrounding his / her care at Beck house. Regular consultation is sought from the young person, placing authority, family and significant others as part of all processes of care planning and outcomes monitoring.
