In 2008 Five Rivers will be opening a emergency unit in London to cater for Emergency placements 24 hours a day.

Social Workers, Placements Officers and others faced with the dilemma of finding solutions for young people within specific timescales can now find a truly flexible response from Five Rivers.

Our ‘One Stop Placement’ approach will meet the individual needs of young people with a range of provision: Family Placements or Residential Placement in a group or singleton placement; a variety of specialist Education supports and provision.

Where placing authorities find difficulty choosing the best option for a young person, Five Rivers can offer up to seven days in its Care Adventure facilities at the fee of any Residential Unit being considered.

Five Rivers will use the opportunity of getting to know each young person to find the most suitable family within the best time scale possible. As part of this service we will provide:

A decision within the hour once all paperwork is received.

Clarity on all costs involved.

A pro-active response and child centred approach.
