A Social Pedagogy Model with a UK context
This workshop will showcase how local authorities can improve outcomes for looked-after young people through the adoption of a social pedagogy practice model. It will include an evaluation from a local authority that has adopted the model; what positive benefits have been enjoyed by their young people and how the model has empowered their workforce.
Delegates who attend this workshop will:
Consider how the model encourages the growth in the relationship between the carer and the young person Learn how to give young people a voice in their care planning
