Fostering Respite
Respite foster carers support full-time foster carers by providing foster children with a short stay in a safe and caring family environment.
Children who come into care may have experienced difficulties in their early life, which may have included abuse or neglect and respite provides full-time foster carers with someone experienced they can trust to look after the children on a temporary, short-term basis.
Respite is delivered by foster carers that have been specifically selected by Five Rivers for this role and provision for respite is made during the care planning process for each child.
