All of the Five Rivers fostering services are run on the same ethos. We provide as normal an environment as possible, whilst always recognising the individual qualities of the children and young people in our care along with their own unique set of problems.

These services vary from foster care to intensive singleton placements. We also have the flexibility to offer emergency and medium stay residential placements.
We provide specialist foster care to meet the specific requirements of each individual. We have respite carers for established placements and we can also offer flexible peripatetic respite care and
support. We are able to offer very experienced assessments for parent and child placements and skilled supervision of contact.All our foster carers are currently undertaking their CWDC Induction and are trained in Attachment Theory and we have a robust, on-going programme of workshops in order to provide professional and competent foster carers to meet the needs of the children and young people.
Hard work, challenging and demanding, the rewards of Foster Care do not come overnight. Children that arrive at Five Rivers may have lost the ability to trust, and sometimes find it hard to live in a family but the joys and rewards that foster children bring are second to none.
As a reputable fostering agency we are able to offer venues as well as experienced and trained supervisors for contact. We will provide written observations within 48 hours.
