Evaluation Of The School
The Farringdon Centre provides an outstanding quality of education. There is an exceptionally calm, purposeful and friendly environment in which outstanding teaching supports the young people in feeling safe, confident and successful.
Quality Of Education
The quality of education is outstanding. The school provides a well-planned, full and varied range of subjects that closely reflect the National Curriculum. The quality of teaching and assessment is outstanding. Teaching matches the needs of the young people closely and, because of the teachers good subject knowledge and understanding of the young peoples needs, is exceptionally flexible. Planning is detailed and meticulous.
The school’s excellent assessment framework recognises the significant psychological challenges and the many years of lost learning through limited attendance that affect the young people’s attainment on entry.
