The Five Rivers family placement service office in London began in September 2001 covering the areas of East London and Essex. The office started with one manager and one part time worker. The staffing levels and the services are expanding. We are looking to develop in the south and north areas very soon, and have already established fostering contacts with a number of London boroughs.

Our Somerset office is our newest office and was quickly developed to compliment our complete coverage throughout the Southwest. based in Langport the office is ideally located on route to our Truro or Cornwall offices. Five Rivers also offers a range of crisis intervention centres located in close proximity to these offices.

Cheltenham

The Cheltenham branch of Five Rivers Family Placement service began in May 2000. Due to the high level of demand, We aim to double the availability of placements by the summer of 2009, with coverage extending to the Gloucestershire, Bristol and Swindon areas. Our offices, based in the heart of regency Cheltenham provides facilities for meetings, conferences and therapeutic work.

Five Rivers Ireland

Five Rivers Ireland is based in Dublin. We are developing a fostering service to serve health boards in Ireland. At present Five Rivers is the only independent fostering agency in Ireland and there are plans to increase levels in the near future to address the obvious growth potential.
