Wiltshire

The Salisbury office remains the primary site of the family placement services and was initially developed as a result of providing family placements for young people leaving the Five Rivers residential homes. Since then the service has continued to develop and the office is presently working towards new developments.

Tadley - Hampshire

A regional office was developed in the Autumn of 2005, and we are actively seeking to recruit Foster Carers within an hours travelling of Newbury and throughout Hampshire. A highly skilled team of Social Workers are employed to ensure all foster carers receive unrivalled support and expertise.

Devon

Five Rivers Devon was established in 2001. The registered office is on the outskirts of Exeter, easily accessible from the M5 and A30 and with good rail links. This offers an excellent venue for meetings, reviews and contact, especially helpful for those authorities travelling some distance to placements in the West Country. In Cornwall we have a satellite office at Truro as a staff base and for meetings and contact.

We have respite carers for established placements and we can also offer flexible peripatetic respite care and support. We are able to offer very experienced assessments for parent and child placements and skilled supervision of contact. All our carers are currently undertaking their CWDC Induction. Our carers are trained in Attachment Theory and we have a robust, on-going programme of workshops in order to provide professional and competent foster carers to meet the needs of the children and young people we look after. We are able to offer venues as well as experienced and trained supervisors for contact. We will provide written observations within 48 hours.

Derbyshire

Five Rivers began to develop its services in the Midlands in 2001, making our first placements in August of that year. Progress has been made, with placements becoming available across the whole region, from Leeds in the north, through Sheffield, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire and across the West Midlands.

Hull - East Yorkshire

Five Rivers opened its Hull Office in September 2009, joining Five Rivers northern region, it offering specialist placements to the Humber / Yorkshire area and currently extending services into Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The Hull office works closely with our residential services in Leeds finding suitable families for Children and Young people exiting our residential programmes in the northern region
