National Outreach and Consultancy Services
We also provide specialist educational advice, training and support to our colleagues in the fostering and residential services as part of the wider national Five Rivers Childcare network. Our strategic partnerships allow us to offer a variety of educational ‘Outreach’ options for vulnerable learners in our care and those unable to access full time education for whatever reason.
We are sharing our expertise and resources with many young people in our locality and beyond, who may be experiencing difficulties with education.
We are developing our in-service training for teachers and support workers and externally through our links with colleges of higher education.
We will continue to research and apply a range of flexible outreach and on-site programmes through our resource base, where we work in partnership with other agencies, to provide intensive educational and therapeutic support.
We will continue to be highly regarded within the educational and wider community for our caring concern and expertise in behaviour management through exciting and creative teaching and learning programmes.
Our training programmes will allow us to form valuable and exciting networks of mutual support and professional development.
