Switch to Five Rivers
We are always looking for foster carers from all cultural, religious and racial backgrounds, regardless of sexual orientation and whether they are single people, or a couple (whether married or living together, with or without children).
Unlike many companies in the care sector, Five Rivers does not pay dividends to shareholders. We are a Social Enterprise, meaning that we reinvest any surplus we make into the services we provide.
We welcome hearing from carers who might be interested in transferring from another agency. However, we only open a discussion if:
- any child(ren) currently in placement are not disrupted as a result of the transfer.
- the applicants are committed to working to the Five Rivers ethos and standards.
If you do become a Five Rivers foster carer, there are opportunities to develop into specialist areas such as residential step-down or parent & child placements. There is a high demand for approved carers who can take on these types of placements, and support, training and fees reflect the added complexity of these fostering tasks.
